It broke my heart to read Baby's story as written by his previous owner.  Baby is a 1 year 3 month old, neutered male, gray Staffordshire Bull Terrier.  He was returned to the shelter on February 20, 2014 after having been adopted as a pup.  This is a story that repeats itself much too often.

Baby's breed is "unpopular" in the neighborhood where he lived and neighbors were not happy.  apparently Baby was not secured in his yard and would run away from home.  According to the owner, Baby was a great dog except for this one problem.

Quincy is a 1 year old Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix who weighs 62 pounds.  He is just a youngster, and as such, has lots of energy.  Volunteers have commented that once taken into the yard where he had a chance to let out some of his energy, he calmed down quickly.  He connected well with the volunteers, making eye contact with them.  He is in need of basic training, but he is young, smart and will learn.
