“Newton” Is Special!

Newton is a very special dog, and it will take a very special person to appreciate this 6 year old neutered Australian Terrier/Manchester Terrier mix.  He has been at the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter since January 28, 2014.

Newton has a very unique personality.  It’s important to approach him very gently in the beginning.  He likes people and is described by one of the volunteers who knows his as a “great dog who is very sweet.”  She has taken the time to get to know him and allow hime the time to get to know her.  He enjoys being able to snuggle in her lap and watch the goings on!

Newton shares space with two other dogs and is fine with them. but he would probably do best in a home with one person, no children and not other dogs.  He did live with a cat for 6 months.  See Newton in action!

Newton has a history of snapping when frightened or app raced too fast.  He knows Sit and Down.
