“Stewie” Says “I’m Beautiful!”
ID# A1479961
Stewie’s eyes tell his story. He had a home once, but they didn’t have time for him anymore; on May 22, 2014, he was left at the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter. He misses his family. His eyes are weeping!
Stewie is a beautiful 1 year 1 month old, male American Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Stewie is truly an amazing dog. He loves other people and is good with other dogs. He is housebroken and likes to ride in the car.
The volunteers who have spent time with him describe him as easy to walk, gentle and sweet. He knows Sit and Stay. He does not like the crate, perhaps because it was used for punishment. Making it a good experience for him will allow him to get over this fear.
According to the previous owner, Stewie is very smart. He follows commands that include Eat, Don’t Eat, Lie Down, Get Your Ball, Get Your Bone, etc. He spins and flips. On his walks if he gets ahead of his person, he will back up and go behind his person.
All this being said, Stewie is a friendly, easy going, easy to walk, loving dog who needs a forever home with a family that will truly commit to him forever. He deserves that and much more. Please help this amazing dog. When contacting the shelter for more information about Stewie, be sure to use his ID# A1479961 as a reference. Photo/video credit: Debbie Fan, Twitter @blackjackbarks
